MSocSc(Pop&PA) equips students with multidisciplinary expertise in demography, policy analysis and evidence-based decision-making. Through a data-driven approach, the programme develops the analytical and technical skills needed to understand pressing population challenges, including ageing, low birth rates and migration, and turn population evidence into impactful policy solutions.

Admission Requirements

The MSocSc(MCCC) requires completion of 60 credits and is typically completed in 1 year on a full-time basis.
Applicants are expected to hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification from a recognized tertiary institution. Candidates with non-standard qualifications but demonstrating significant professional experience (a minimum of 3 years in a related industry) will be considered on an individual basis. All applicants must submit their complete academic transcripts upon application.
